Join us for H.O.T.'s eigth annual Greyt Greyhounds and Friends Pet Fair, which will be held on Saturday, October 24th at the Graff Pavilion in O.P. Schnabel Park, 9606 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m.


This is a time for Greyhounds, canine friends, and their humans to get together to just have fun! Come and see old friends and meet new ones too!


This is H.O.T.'s major fundraiser each year. This year, proceeds of the Fair will be used to help defray our growing veterinary bills. Currently, H.O.T. has two Greyhounds who are in poor physical condition with heartworms

Representatives from different rescue/adoption groups will be in attendance to provide information on their programs and will have pets for adoption at the Fair! These include, but are not limited to:

• Animal Care Services will have some dogs available for adoption thoughout the day.
• San Antonio Great Danes and Homeward Bound Dogs will be visiting with us with dogs available for adoption and some of the "big kids" looking for forever homes!
• Members from Italian Greyhound Rescue will be visiting with us!
• Members from San Antonio Nature Hounds will be preceeding the Fair with a walk through O.P. Schnabel Park

This year, H.O.T. is very excited to have THREE, that's right, THREE Grand Prizes for our Raffle! Tickets are $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. This year, we will draw for THREE GRAND PRIZE WINNERS!

• A beautiful, bright Quilt made by Pat Martin, mother of H.O.T. member, Helen T. Pat is from Ireland and all fabrics come from Ireland and she included a Greyhound in the center of the quilt.

It is your choice which bucket you put your ticket in! Any of these items would make a wonderful holiday gift for someone special - even yourself!

It is not necessary to pay a registration fee to attend. The registration fee will get you a t-shirt designed especially for this greyt event, along with a toy for your canine friend along with a goodie bag filled with wonderful stuff for you and your canine friend. Also, everyone who pre-registers prior to October 15th will receive six free general raffle tickets .

Raffle tickets are available for $1.00 each or six for $5.00 for the general raffle and $5.00 each or five for $20.00 for the Special Drop Bucket raffle items. Raffle tickets can also be obtained by sending your check or money order to:

Please mark your check or money order "Raffle Tickets" and specific what type of tickets you want. They will be mailed to you for entry on the day of the Fair or entered for you, if you prefer!
