Join us for H.O.T.'s sixth annual Greyt Greyhounds and Friends Fair, which will
be held on Saturday, October 27th at the
Graff Pavilion in O.P. Schnabel Park, 9606 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Texas, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
This is a time for Greyhounds, canine friends, and their humans to get together to just have fun! Come and see old
friends and meet new ones too!
This is one of H.O.T.'s major fundraisers each year.
RAFFLE LIST
This fun event is in the planning stages, so keep checking back for updates on the greyt activities! This
year, planned activities include (but are not limited to):
Face painting.
Canine caricatures (for a nominal fee)
Professional Family and Pet Photos (A charge of $5.00 will be charged for a 4" x 6" photo. We also have a button-making machine,
and you can have your photo put on a three-inch button for a nominal fee! We not only have the "Greyhound Head" photo, but
we have a set of genuine racing silks and a racing muzzle to dress your canine companion in.
H.O.T. Spa - groomer, Patrice Burkhart, will be providing pet manicures and pedicures, toe nail painting and ear cleaning
for a nominal fee.
Design A Leash Booth - $7.00 - decorate a leash for your dog with color and bling!
Children's activities, which will include make a button booth, games, and arts & crafts
Pet and Human massages - $1.00 per minute!
Greyhound Kissing Booth - $1.00 per smooch!
Scavanger Hunt - with a prize to all who complete it!
Our Pet Costume Contest will be held right before the raffle drawings at the end of the day!

We will once again have our Silent Auction tables running throughout the day with some pretty
spectacular items on the all-day and reserve auction tables
Awesome Raffles!
Our Friends from Austin Greyhound Adoption will be participating in this year's Fair with two fun activities:
the Wheel of Fortune where prizes are won and a Weenie Bob for Greyhounds and their canine friends. There will
be some super prizes for 1st and 2nd place winners in the Weenie Bob!
We will once again be collecting used coat and collar donations to support the Spanish Greyhounds
Representatives from different rescue/adoption groups will be in attendance to provide information on their programs. These include, but are
not limited to:
At our information table, we will have a visual display about Greyhounds' lives prior to being placed in adoption groups.
Lots of greyt food (H.O.T. dogs, of course!), fun, fellowship
Vendors, vendors, vendors!
Juan Vasquez will be offering a microchip clinic and Ellen Stovall will be doing Canine Good Citizenship Tests until 3:00 p.m. Both
are offered for a nominal fee.

the H.O.T. sales table!
Cherkotts with belly bands, Greytjams, Greytsweats, and a few other goodies with all sales
going to H.O.T. will be on the H.O.T. sales table!
Mandy and her team from Pet Butler will be available to give us the "poop" on their
services!
Fast K9's Greyhound Adoption from Webster, Texas
GPA/Houston and their wonderful Greyhound garb and goodies!
Host vending through Greytwear on the H.O.T. sales table!
Host vending through Run With It Embroidery, greyt Greyhound wear for the fashion-minded
Greyhound owner!
H.O.T. volunteers will also have a sales table open with lots of Greyhound goodies, H.O.T. themed and other.

It is not necessary to pay a registration fee to attend. The registration fee
will get you a t-shirt designed especially for this greyt event, along with a toy
for your canine friend along with a reuseable goodie bag filled with wonderful stuff for you
and your canine friend. Also, everyone who pre-registers prior to October 22nd will receive six free general raffle tickets AND be
entered in the "kick-off" drawing to win a gift basket (donated by the GGF Fair Committee),
worth well over $100.00, which will be filled with delicacies, potions and playthings guaranteed to tantalize and pamper
even the most discriminating of canine and companion tastes.
Raffle tickets are available for $1.00 each or six for $5.00 for the general raffle and $5.00 each or six for $20.00
for the Special Drop Bucket raffle items. Raffle tickets can also be obtained by sending your check or money order to:

They will be mailed to you for entry on the day of the Fair or entered for you if you prefer!
If desired, you can also order raffle tickets through
PayPal!
Additionally, H.O.T. and Austin Greyhound Adoption are partnering to provide donations of used
dog coats and collars to send to our sister
group in Spain, Amigos de los Galgos. This group provides support for Galgos (which are Spanish Greyhounds) after they are discarded
by their owners when their usefulness is done. The Galgos live outdoors during the harsh Spanish winter without coats. Our
donations of used coats can help the lives of these Galgos during this hard time. We will be providing a barrel for any donations
which are brought and will see that the coats get to the Amigos de los Galgos.
