GENERAL SUPPORT AND RESOURCES FOR PET AND GREYHOUND OWNERS

Responsible Pet Owners Alliance
Responsible Pet Owners Alliance's, "the reasonable voice regarding animal issues", purpose is to make a lasting contribution to the quality of life for animals and people as animals are a public health and safety issue. Animal bites, rabies, and other zoonotic diseases threaten the safety of everyone when animals aren’t properly maintained and enclosed. We strive to change the “attitudes” of pet owners – addressing animal problems with a positive message, education, and assistance. Responsibly caring for animals involves educating their owners and instilling realistic expectations of companion animal behavior and of the commitments involved in pet ownership. RPOA is a non-profit corporation.

Responsible Pet Owners Alliance
Prayers For Pets
Prayers For Pets is a small (but growing) group of people who love our pets, believe in God and believe in the power of prayer. Formed in 1997 through a mutual concern for the steady flow of beloved pets who are sick, injured, lost or in any other kind of trouble. Though it began with a group of Greyhound owners, our prayers are not limited to Greyhounds, dogs, or even to animals. Their focus is pets and animals simply because we saw an unfilled need. Prayers For Pets gladly prays regularly for any situation that is brought to the attention of the group whether animal-related or not.
